Dear family and friends,
We are so looking forward to celebrating with everyone the weekend of August 9th! We wanted to touch base to make sure everyone knows what to expect.
With love,
Peck Farm
750 Sibley Rd
East Montpelier VT
Look for the blue sign below! The festivities will be up the driveway behind the sign.
5pm: Tent Raising. If you're in town, strong women and men should join us as we put up the tent for the event. Everyone else come relax and enjoy a campfire and laughs with us. If you are planning on attending Friday evening let us know so that we have enough food for everyone. Please specify if you are vegetarian or gluten free when you RSVP to being there Friday evening.
9am+: Coffee and chillax at the farm with us! If you get into town early we would love to see you whenever you arrive. If we aren't there it's possible we have decided to shower before the main event but we will be back shortly :) Relax and enjoy the farm and help yourself to any food or drink that is set out.
1pm arrival. Short ceremony about 1:30pm to make things official.
9–11am: Breakfast and coffee. Many people are staying overnight Saturday evening so we hope that you will join us Sunday morning on your way out of town for breakfast and coffee at the farm. Coffee and food will be provided. Please let us know if you will be there so that we have a headcount for food. Please specify dietary preferences when you RSVP.
We will be car camping for the weekend at the farm/wedding venue site. You are welcome to camp at the farm with us, but we know a lot of you have booked rooms.
We will have some beer, NA beer, White Claws/hard seltzer and water/soda. We won't be providing hard liquor or wine but you can bring your favorite beverage!
There is a four-stall bathroom trailer that will be on site for guests. For those camping we did rent a nearby room so we can help facilitate showers for campers who want to clean up.
Truly casual! T-shirts and flip-flops are the encouraged attire. No ties; heels will only slow you down in the corn maze! Sundresses are acceptable—keep them informal and comfortable. There will probably be a lot of polo shirts and shorts for the guys.
The potluck is filling up! If you are flying in from out of town your presence is your contribution—please do not worry about bringing anything! If you can bring a side or dessert, there are a few more slots left at the potluck signup. We will provide hot dogs, burgers, veggie burgers, chicken, brats, sausages, steak tips, garden salad, beer, NA beer, White Claws/hard seltzer, and water/soda.
Saturday starting at noon we are going to be grilling. There is no formal seating or meal time but the tents will have plenty of seating and tables for people to relax with their food.
We have some vegetarians and gluten-free guests, so please label dishes accordingly. If you’re able to contribute a dish, that would be wonderful—but not required.
Please, no gifts! Your presence is all that is requested.
Bring them! There will be children of all ages and a corn maze!
Due to some older guests, pets need to be kept on leash. We’re planning to bring a dog pen for Mina and Wyatt so they can relax safely; if you bring a dog, feel free to bring their crate or pen, too.
